Played one season (1982-83) ... Came to Pepperdine after an outstanding junior career, which including a 14-and-under national singles title ... Had the best winning percentage on the team in 1983 and competed in the NCAA Tournament ... Helped the team reach the NCAA Round of 16 ... Turned professional after her freshman season ... Ranked as high as #15 in singles and #8 in doubles in the world ... Won three singles and 12 doubles titles on the WTA Tour ... Won two titles at the U.S. Open, the 1988 women's doubles and the 1989 mixed doubles ... Went on to become a coach with the USTA.
