FAIRFAX, California – The Pepperdine women's golf team wrapped up the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, its third event in less than two weeks to start the spring season, with an 11th-place finish.
The Waves shot 926 (306-308-312) over two days at the par-72 Meadow Club.
PLAYER SCORES
- Freshman Lion Higo (Gold Coast, Australia) took 37th place at 231 (76-77-78). She had one birdie in the final round.
- Freshman Caroline Hwang (Orlando, Fla.) had the Waves' best round of the day and finished in a tie for 38th at 232 (80-78-74). He had one birdie on Tuesday.
- Sophomore Reese Guzman (Kahului, Hawai'i) also tied for 38th at 232 (81-74-77). She posted three birdies today, including each of her final two holes. She had a team-high 10 birdies over the three rounds.
- Senior Megan Dennis (Bedfordshire, United Kingdom) tied for 49th at 236 (74-79-83). She had one birdie in the final round.
- Freshman Kaleiya Romero (San Jose, Calif.) tied for 63rd at 242 (76-82-84). She had one birdie on Tuesday.
