FAIRFAX, California – The Pepperdine women's golf team wrapped up the Juli Inkster Invitational with a sixth-place finish on Tuesday, with two Waves earning top-20 finishes.
The Waves shot a two-day total of 878 (286-297-295) at the par-72 Meadow Club.
PLAYER SCORES
- Senior Hira Naveed (Perth, Australia) tied for eighth place with a 1-over 217 (70-75-72). She's now had five top-10 finishes in six tournaments this season. She had four birdies in her final round.
- Senior Patricia Wong (Walnut, Calif./Walnut HS) tied for 12th at 218 (70-75-73), her best finish of the season. She had three birdies on the day and had a team-best 10 for the tournament.
- Junior Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) tied for 21st at 222 (72-75-75). Her final round had three birdies.
- Freshman Kathrine Chan (Richmond, B.C., Canada) tied for 29th at 224 (74-73-77).
- Senior Hannah Haythorne (Honolulu, Hawai'i/IMG Academy) also tied for 29th at 224 (75-74-75). She had two birdies on Tuesday.
- Playing as an individual, freshman Sifan He (Shanghai, China) tied for 39th at 226 (74-78-74). Her final round had two birdies.

Pepperdine is back in action next week when the Waves play at San Diego State's Lamkin Invitational from Monday-Wednesday (March 25-27).
