LOS ANGELES - Members of the Pepperdine men's tennis team played today at the 58th Annual So Cal Intercollegiate Championships, held at the Los Angeles Tennis Club on the campus of UCLA.
Alexander Solonin (Tarzana, Calif./Thousand Oaks HS) and Kento Tanaka-Tamaki (Kihei, Hawaii/St. Anthony Junior-Senior HS) fell just short of victory, both bowing out in three sets.
Freshmen Logan Hall (Paradise Valley, Ariz./IMG Academy) and Jonah Kral (Longview, Texas/Austin Tennis Academy) also lost in their first round matches to exit the draw.
The Waves return to action on November 6-9 for the Jack Kramer Club Collegiate Invitational.
