HONOLULU, Hawaii - Despite advantages in shots and corner kicks, the Pepperdine women's soccer team lost to Washington State, 1-0, on Saturday night at the Hawaii Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Soccer Classic.

The Waves were shut out for the second time this season and dropped to 4-3-1. The Cougars (4-6-0) wrapped up the championship of the three-team tournament as they beat Hawaii, 3-0, on Friday.

Sophomore goalkeeper Roxanne Barker (Irvine, Calif./Woodbridge HS) made four saves.
